I suggest you ...

  1. allow me to add a shapefile to myplans that extends beyond the subregion I sit on...

    I tried to add a shapefile, set of polygons that I wanted to share with the conservation sector via the conservation forum, but it wouldnt take my shape file because it extends beyond the CC sub-region???

    Disregard the previous message.

    Uploading shapefiles is a means to create a sketch. In the MaPP project, sketches are confined to study regions (e.g., you can only sketch a Central Cost SMP in the Central Coast sub-region. Therefore, the system will balk at trying to upload a sketch that falls outside the sub-region.

  2. Have a map bookmark URL from the Data Layers tab

    I want to be able to zoom in, pull up some layers, and send that view and layers to someone. Right now I have to do all this through the "Participate" tab.

  3. Z ordering

    "z ordering" makes sense to me as a gis professional, but its not going to be intuitive to a lot of other users. Something like Drawing Order might make more sense.

    The Z also suggest an association to Z values as with elevation files, as opposed to just the drawing order.
