Profile pictures are associated with your email address by registering your email address with Gravatar.com. Simply go to http://www.gravatar.com and create an account with the email address you are using with SeaSketch. Follow the directions on Gravatar.com to upload an image. Once you have taken these two steps (creating a gravitar account and uploading an image), your SeaSketch profile will display the picture you uploaded!

(Note, it may take a few minutes after creating your Gravitar account and uploading your image for the image to display in your SeaSketch profile. You may also need to log out and back into SeaSketch for the changes to be reflected.)
