Creating projects may be very simple or very complex, depending on your needs. Please contact Will McClintock with a description of how you would like to use SeaSketch and we will work with you decide what the time / cost implications are to create and maintain your project. Please provide us with the context in which it will be used (e.g., for marine protected area planning, fisheries management) information on the geography, supporting agencies or NGOs, etc. A basic SeaSketch license costs $5,000 per year. Map hosting may cost $5,000-$20,000 per year depending on your needs. A basic level of support (e.g., 40 hours per year) is approximately $6,600. Small projects range from $15-30,000 per year. Large projects may cost $500,000 to get started and $50,000 per year for support and maintenance.
