To search for and zoom to a known location, such as a city or geographical feature, use the "go to location" box in the top left corner of any project. 

Enter the name of the place you would like to find in the "go to location" box, then hit enter. This will zoom your map to this location and place a marker in the spot you are looking for (see the blue marker on the map below).
