How can I search for map layers?

Using the search box at the top of the Data Layers tab, you may search for map layers within your project. Layers will be searched based on the layer name and any metadata and keywords that have been added by the administrator of the project.

The search function is particularly useful for projects that have many data layers, or layers that are hidden within folders. For example, in the example above, the folder "Infrastructure and Industrial Uses" contains a layer called Pacific Pipelines. By searching for the term "pipe", a user can find that layer and turn it on. The following video demonstrates the search function.

Note for project administrators: The search function may be used in the Project Dashboard as well.
