How can I edit a plan (sketch)?

Once you have drawn (sketched) a prospective plan (point, line or polygon), it is automatically saved to your account and viewable under the "My Plans" tab. To edit the geometry or associated attributes, simply highlight the name of the plan, click the "Edit" dropdown menu, and choose "Edit".

You may edit the geometry (shape), the attributes (fields associated with the geometry) or both.

If you choose "Edit Geometry" you will notice that solid handles appear for each vertex you created when first drawing your shape. Additionally, there are white handles that appear between each original vertex. Move the handles to change the shape of your plan. By moving one of the white handles, you will add two new vertices, one on each side of the white handle.

When finished editing the geometry, click "Done Editing Geometry". When finished editing the attributes, click "Save Sketch". Below, we have provided a video demonstration of editing a shape and attributes in SeaSketch.
