Simple Map Mode
When this mode is enabled, the Data Layers sidebar will be hidden for all users of the project. Any data in the table of contents will only be visible if it is set to be on by default, as users will have no access to the table of contents. Users will be given an alternative interface for selecting basemaps.
When to use Simple Map Mode
Simple Map Mode is particularly useful for projects where users are solely responding to a survey. In this case it may only be distracting to have them browsing through the Data Layers tab and table of contents. If a small amount of data needs to be shown to users, you may include these data in a custom basemap.
